On December 31st, S.D. 748, Albel was born in Kirlsa to an unnamed woman and Sir Glou Nox. Albel's father was the captain of the Dragon Brigade, the wielder of the Crimson Scourge, and a revolutionary political reformer who collaborated with his closest friend, Count Woltar, to install Airyglyph XIII as new King of Airyglyph. Glou and Woltar also worked to institute a new merit-based military system in the country.
