Ant Killer

Ant Killer is, by all appearances, a loud, overbearing nitwit. He has a tendency, of which he seems to be at least slightly aware, of making commitments to himself or others that he fails to follow through on, even when he has deliberately placed obstacles for himself that will make it impossible, or at least difficult, to back out of his promises. As a burrowing monster, he is passionate about making tunnels, warrens or just immersing himself in dirt, and can talk shop with other burrowing monsters for hours about soil consistency and related issues. He has a tendency, when asked a question he considers stupid (or, indeed, any question or statement of any kind) to repeat it back in a dumb-guy voice, and then seriously answer it. He is relentlessly insulting and demanding of his subordinates, but has a deep respect for the chain of command and treats his superiors and seniors with genuine deference, even when they are semi-weaponized plush toys. Finally, despite appearing to be exactly as much of a raging dumbass as his brother Khamenman, he is actually the more accomplished of the two siblings in terms of getting his life together. I guess it goes to show that you can't always judge a book by its abrasive, smelly, face-pinching cover.
