Jean de Chartois

Jean de Chartois (ジャン・ド・シャルトワ Jīn dī charutoisu) was a supporting character who appears in the beginning of Iɴɴᴏᴄᴇɴᴛ ﹙SAKAMOTO Sʜɪɴɪᴄʜɪ﹚. When Jean was younger, him and his younger sister lived with his mother, who was an English prostitue. Once his mother died of an unspecified illness, Earl de Chartois adopted both him and his sister. It is later revealed, on the day of Jean's execution, that Earl de Chartois only took Jean in due to the fact that he spoke English and could be of help to the military.
