Masumi Takeda

Masumi Takeda (竹田 真澄, Takeda Masumi) is one of DAISY and Soichiro Kurebayashi's former co-workers, described as persistent, but not terribly cunning. He comes to Teru Kurebayashi's school as the new PC instructor and administrator for information management, but in truth hopes to get close to Teru to obtain her cell phone, believing it contains unreleased software Soichiro had been designing before his death. While his first attempt is thwarted by Tasuku Kurosaki, Takeda approaches Teru again and believes that he has successfully tricked her into letting him scan her cell phone. When she reveals she was aware of his intentions and encourages him to share any discoveries he makes regarding her phone, Takeda realizes the strength of Teru's resolve and her kindness and chooses to stop harassing her, despite orders from the organization that demanded he do so.
