Slippy Toad

Slippy Toad is an anthropomorphic green toad and Fox McCloud's friend and classmate from their time in the Cornerian Flight Academy, and has been flying alongside him for several years. He serves as the inventor, engineer and mechanic of the Star Fox team, and he's specialized in analyzing the enemies' defenses.
