Hoshina Furea is a shy girl. Her childhood friend Noa has a good chance of becoming a successor in AKB0048.

In the school there is an idol group named AKB0048 that is very popular. Only the pretty and talented come to the group.

The problem is that Furea and Noa have the same dream. They want to be in AKB0048 and get even higher...

Furea Hoshina is a main character of AKB0048's spin-off manga AKB0048 Episode 0 and the 12th Atsuko Maeda as well as a previous center nova. It can be assumed that Atsuko Katagiri is the successor to her name, and she is very bright and she knows how to be beautiful inside and out. She is Noa's childhood friend, however, after she was chosen to be Atsuko Maeda, Noa became distant.
