Taiki Inomata, in his third year of junior high, ended his final junior high badminton tournament with a loss, which left him feeling unsatisfied. One day, while he was at school working on his summer assignments with Kyou and Hina, Hina suggested, “Let’s do something summery to make one last good memories of middle school!” While pondering what they could do at this late hour, Taiki headed off to practice badminton on his own, only to be unexpectedly told by the club advisor that he could join the high school squad practice starting tomorrow—⁉ Also included are episodes from Yumeka’s junior high days, as well as those of Hariu and Karen‼ A new novel depicting where “youth” begins to unfold, before the main story starts‼
