Aoya Toudai Monogatari

Since the Yayoi period, the town of Aoya has prospered through its interactions with the sea. During the Edo and Meiji periods, it was a major port town for Kitamaebune ships. Cape Nagaohana, which protrudes into the Sea of ​​Japan, has become a landmark, where the Nagaohana Lighthouse watches over the passing ships.

The story unfolds as a high school girl living in Aoya becomes fascinated by the romance of the sea while learning about Aoya's history from a pair of komainu spirits.
