Isagi grew up watching soccer and aspiring to be like [Noel Noa](https://anilist.co/character/268966), a forward for France's National Team. Due to this, he dreams of becoming the best striker in the world. In turn, Isagi played striker for his school soccer team, who was defeated in the Prefectural Finals by Matsukaze Kokou High. After this loss, Isagi is invited to participate in the Blue Lock Project, ranked 299th of 300 strikers, and is assigned to Team Z. Isagi is easygoing and has a generally friendly, cheery personality, but his simple and innocent habits often get on the nerves of the people around him. As time goes on, Isagi develops a more assertive presence on and off the field, becoming the foundation for Team Z and garnering the respect of some of the best players in Blue Lock.

He is the younger brother of Sae Itoshi, a prodigy considered one of the best youth soccer players in the world. Rin once had the aspiration of being the greatest in the world alongside his brother, but after a disagreement, he became obsessed with beating his brother in football to demonstrate he can succeed without him. Rin is a player who loves to play perfectly efficient football but isn’t hesitant to be daring and take surprising risks to fully embrace the live-or-die attitude he has grown fond of and appreciates. Whether on offense or defense, Rin's play style consists of him grasping the abilities of both his teammates and his opponents and forcing out their best plays and abilities. He either manipulates them in his efforts to score goals for himself or aims to crush them at their strongest.

Ego is introduced as a man who radiates ambition and confidence. His egotistical nature is undeniable, especially given his belief that only his methods can lead to Japan's victory in the World Cup. Ego used to play football in his earlier career, with Noel Noa being his rival and former teammate.

When first introduced, he was ranked #3 during the Third Selection and later played as a defensive midfielder for the Blue Lock Eleven in their match against Japan’s U-20 team.!~

When first arriving at Blue Lock, he was a member of Team Y during the First Selection, and he was determined on surviving Blue Lock with the skills he already had, but after losing to Yoichi Isagi in the First Selection, he decided to stop being afraid and change to get better so that he could survive Blue Lock.

__Birthplace:__ Aichi __Height:__ 177 cm (5'10") Eita Otoya is a contender in the Blue Lock Project. ~!When first introduced, he was ranked #4 during the Third Selection and later played both right wing and right-back for the Blue Lock Eleven in their match against Japan’s U-20 team. He played as a right winger for Spain’s FC Barcha during the Neo Egoist League.!~

Previously a second year football player at Matsukaze Kokuo High and now #289 in Blue Lock. He is a pretty boy with girls swooning over him. He plays as a striker and, like Yoichi, is a team-based player. Ryousuke is skeptical about the whole Blue Lock program and is against the thought of an ego-driven striker. Due to this, he is trying to defeat all 299 other strikers at Blue Lock. ~!He is kicked out of Blue Lock after being defeated by Yoichi and Meguru.!~
