Shinta is an introverted virgin office worker who is self conscious about his looks — and currently obsessed with having VR sex in a virtual world. In VR, he is the handsome high schooler Makoto with a fulfilling school and sex life. He became friends with benefits with his classmate Aki, and his time with him became the only thing he looked forward to.
In the virtual world, it is prohibited to share information about real life, so he can only see Aki online. In reality, he is made fun of by his coworkers and overworked by his boss. With these days where he feels the huge gap between his real and VR life, Shinta begins to desire to meet Aki in real life.
