MAINAoba has short, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She is of average height and athletic. She wears the school uniform when she's at school, and the baseball uniform when practicing with the baseball team. When at home she is usually wearing casual t-shirts and shorts/pants. She is rarely seen in dresses or skirts except when she's wearing her school uniform.

MAINKou has short black hair and grey eyes. His hair is always unruly due to his incurable case of bed hair. He has a medium thick eyebrows, a small nose and large ears. Sometimes he wears shirts that has the name of his family's store on them. He uses a blue baseball glove.

SUPPORTINGKeiichirou Senda (千田 圭一郎) is a character in the Cross Game series. He's the self-proclaimed best friend of Kou. He was the only one of the four incoming players from Seishu Academy Middle School who made it onto the varsity due to the other three not taking the test. Senda was previously a pitcher but was shown to be a better shortstop. He bats 1st in the batting order. In middle school, he batted 4th.

SUPPORTINGKensaku is first seen telling his son, Kou to deliver some baseballs to the Tsukishima Batting Center. He is then seen attending Wakaba's funeral and later giving Kou some money to attend the Summer Festival knowing he needed to get out of the house.
