Tsugumi Shirasaki

白崎つぐみ

Tsugumi Shirasaki (白崎 つぐみ Shirasaki Tsugumi) is a main character of Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. She made her first appearance in Episode 1, when she was giving out posters which read "Be Happy With Me" however, the train derailed which caused her to be saved by Kyōtarō Kakei, because he was warned by the "shepherd" that there will be an accident. She later invites Kyōtarō to be apart of her Happy Project and she along with her best friend and first supporter Tamamo Sakuraba become part of the Library Club with Kyōtarō. Tsugumi is later elected the Library Club president as chosen by Tamamo and Kyotaro.

Nagi Kodachi

小太刀凪

Nagi Kodachi (小太刀 凪 Kodachi Nagi) is a main character of Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. She is a member of the Library Committee who is not a member of the Library Club and she lives next door to Kyōtarō Kakei, making them next door neighbors, but in reality, she is the one sending the mail to Kyōtarō under the alias of Shepherd and she lives in an abandoned room which is next to Kyōtarō where she wants to be a Shepherd due to being alone for most of her childhood.

Kana Suzuki

鈴木佳奈

Kana Suzuki (鈴木 佳奈 Suzuki Kana) is a freshman student who works part time at the Apillio as a waitress and she later becomes a member of the Library Club.

Tamamo Sakuraba

Tamamo Sakuraba (桜庭 玉藻 Sakuraba Tamamo) is one of the main female characters of Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. She is the best friend of Tsugumi Shirasaki and a classmate of Kyōtarō Kakei and Ikkei Takamine.

Senri Misono (御園 千莉 Misono Senri) is a main character of Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. She is a freshman student who became a member of the Library Club.

Ikkei Takamine (高峰 一景 Takamine Ikkei) is supporting character in Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. He is the classmate/friend of Kyōtarō Kakei who joins the Library Club and he used to take karate classes, but he had to quit because of a foot injury.
