The business of Death is never done. Asato Tsuzuki works as a Shinigami, or "Guardian of Death," in the Ministry of Hades. It's his duty to make sure that the souls of the dead reach the afterlife, but contrary ghosts and humanity's evils keep getting in the way of a job well done. With all these problem assignments, will he ever get a bonus...or will he be stuck paying back damages for all eternity?

MAINHisoka is shorter for his actual age, due to the fact he died when he was a teenager. He has a slender body build, dirty blond hair that is usually messy with strands hanging in his face, very pale skin and vivid emerald eyes. His usual attire is a jean jacket on top of a bright orange long-sleeved shirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Sometimes he changes into a formless pale red sweater, a loose zip up jacket with a baseball cap or a long jacket with a design on the collar.

MAINKazutaka Muraki has silver hair that covers his right eye, His left eye is silver and his right is is a false bluer-eye and slightly larger than his left eye and is mechanical. He wears square-rimmed glasses and usually a white trench-coat with a mauve shirt and black tie and white pants.

SUPPORTINGIn both the anime and manga, Tsuzuki is tall and handsome young man with dark brown hair and violet eyes. His default outfit is a black suit paired with a black trench coat. Even he had a troubled past, he always manages to wear a smile and radiates a gentle aura.
When he was alive, Terazuma, used to be a very normal looking young man with black hair and black eyes. Since he was bonded with his shikigami, the parasitic spirit has changed his outward looks. His ears are now pointed, his eyes are red. the two 'strike-like' markings under his eyes are actually deep bags form long nights.

SUPPORTINGMaria was a beautiful young woman with dark brown hair that is tied in a bun, amber eyes and a fine build. However, her appearance turns different once she is in Kazutaka Muraki's control where he hair transforms into an ash white color and her eyes are a deep scarlet.
