This comic follows the story of other robotic cats that form a baseball club. Though it shows Doraemon in the beginning, it doesn't focus on Doraemon itself (because Doraemon must go back to the past to help Nobita). The group is led by Kuroemon, a cat that looks like Doraemon, only it has ears and black fur. It features a lot of imaginary ability, and in the baseball game, is allowed to use up to 3 gadgets.

MAINA helper-type robotic cat assigned to Fujimoto's household, he occassionaly neglects his domestic duties to pursue his true passion: baseball. After leading the Doras from a ragtag amateur team to becoming one of the top teams in Japan, he eventually goes on to become a professional baseball player for the Chiba Marines in the sequel series, Shin Dorabase. His batting power is regarded as among the best in Japan.

He is a perfectionist who pushes himself to the point of exhaustion to master new techniques.
