Izaya Orihara

Izaya Orihara (折原 臨也, Orihara Izaya) is a skilled and powerful underground information broker who claims to love the entire human race except for Shizuo Heiwajima. He is one of the main leading forces in Durarara!!, being one of the founders of Amphisbaena and Heaven's Slave, as well as a member of Dollars.

Celty Sturluson

Celty is a slim, tall woman who can be easily mistaken for a man. She has pale white skin, and her head is shown to have brown hair and blue eyes. In her early years, it is shown that Celty wore knight's armor as she traveled the country side with her head resting on her lap. When she immigrated to Japan, she updates her attire to match the times. For most of the series, Celty is shown to wear an all black biker jumpsuit with black gloves and shoes. With the exception of pajamas and slippers shown in the anime, all of her clothing is made from a shadow-like substance that materializes around her at her will. She also wears a yellow and blue helmet that vaguely resembles the shape of a cat's head.

Masaomi Kida

Masaomi Kida (紀田 正臣, Kida Masaomi) is Mikado Ryuugamine's best friend from childhood. He encourages Mikado to come to Ikebukuro to attend Raira Academy. Masaomi is enthusiastic about picking up girls despite repeated failures and acts as the comedic foil to Mikado and Anri Sonohara in the early portions of the series. He is the founder and leader of the Yellow Scarves.

Shizuo Heiwajima

Shizuo is a tall young man often seen wearing his trademark bartender suit and expensive-looking blue sunglasses. He has natural brown hair but dyes it blond. Shizuo is noted by several characters to resemble his little brother Kasuka Heiwajima.

He is one of the founders and leader of the Dollars, the former leader of the Blue Squares, and a member of the Saika Army.

Anri Sonohara

園原杏里

Anri Sonohara (園原 杏里, Sonohara Anri) is a bespectacled girl who attends Raira Academy with her close friends Mikado Ryuugamine and Masaomi Kida. Even though she is quiet and timid and possesses a tendency to seclude herself from others, she is intelligent, clever, and resourceful. Her full figure and shy behavior give her the unwanted attention of many males, though she prefers to distance herself from uncomfortable situations and does nothing about the unwanted attention, allowing her friends to defend her. Her timid personality carries over online, where her chat screen name is "Saika." She is a member of the Dollars and the (CO) leader of the Saika Army.

Namie is a curvaceous young woman with brown eyes and long dark brown hair that she wears down. Her facial expression is usually stoic or angry.

Mika Harima

張間美香

Originally, Mika had brown hair and eyes, but after surgery, she has lighter brown hair and grey-green eyes along with much paler skin. Her usual street clothes consist of a white collared shirt, a pink skirt and tie, and a white beanie with a pink heart on it. It is worth noting that she has a very visible zigzag scar on her neck that extends across her throat from her surgery.

Seiji Yagiri

Seiji is a teenage boy with short, spiky slicked back brown hair and brown eyes. His usual attire is a gray shirt and black pants. His bangs are notably spiked up at the front, giving him a rather stylish appearance. And his skin tone appears to be rather fair.
