Frieren has an easy-going personality, but her aloofness leaves her a mystery to her peers, as humans and elves usually have different views on life. As an elf who has lived for at least a millennium, Frieren has a different sense of time, as reflected by her unchanging habit of lying in bed until very late in the morning, and her deeper inability to grasp the speed at which time passes for humans. This partly explains her seemingly detached attitude since lengthy lapses of time are too brief for her to forge meaningful bonds. For instance, after completing their adventure, Frieren casually offered to take her comrades to view the next Era Meteor Shower in fifty years, overlooking their shorter lifespans. She equally believed she knew nothing about Himmel the Hero, even up until his passing, since their 10-year journey felt rather momentary to her. However, following Himmel's funeral, she took the decision to try to know humans better.

Fern

フェルン

Fern has a mature personality as a result of her upbringing, leading her to often act as the mother of the party. She constantly has to help Frieren perform ordinary tasks such as waking her up due to her being a deep sleeper, feeding her, and dressing her, along with cleaning up her messes. She acts similarly around Stark, such as getting mad when he stays up late, even though they are around the same age.

Stark

Stark has a charismatic and kind personality, resulting in him being well-liked among the communities he frequents. He is often doted on by older villagers and is popular with kids, sometimes serving as a mentor or role model for them. Stark, in turn, holds a lot of compassion for them and is willing to risk his life to protect them from threats. Frieren trusts him, as she has willingly puts her life into his hands ever since she recruited him as a vanguard. He has been described by individuals, such as Sein, to be a good kid with a good heart.

Aura

Lawine

Lawine is usually calm and collected. However, her temper can have a very short fuse, especially with her childhood friend Kanne.

Frieren thought of Flamme as an unpleasant person and commented that Flamme "playing her like a fiddle" was the usual. She also called Flamme someone who was known to exaggerate.

Linie

リーニエ

Like all demons, Linie has no concept of human emotions. She is shown to be loyal to both Lügner and Aura, rarely speaking or acting out of turn except in response to threats unlike her counterpart, Draht. Like most demons, she is confident in her abilities and could not perceive the threats that enemies could pose to her, especially if they were human due to demons seeing them as inferior, eventually leading to her demise.
