Due to his father’s poor habit of drinking till he passed out, Ivan happened to pick up the same drinking problem. It is stated that he's older than Rwanda, however, his age is still unconfirmed.

He often conducts himself in a gentlemanly like manner, however, is a manipulative and controlling man. He views others in his organisation as mutts, or at least that their lives are discardable at his expense. He disregards a lot of people to achieve what he wants by any means. In the latest chapter he is revealed to be Rwanda's father along with his real name being "Clive Herbert".
