折木奉太郎

Houtarou lives with his older sister Tomoe and his father in a detached house, though due to Tomoe's constant travels Houtarou is often alone at home. His typical day at home consists of reading the daily newspaper and napping. Occasionally, he reads manga if it interests him. Houtarou prefers shallow roasted coffee.

千反田える

Eru is the only daughter of a lineage of wealthy farmers known as the Chitanda family, of which appear to be quite well renowned. She graduated from Inji Middle School and enrolled into Kamiyama High School. Eru entered the Classics Club in an attempt to recollect her last memory of her uncle, and incidentally, became the club's president due to the club not retaining any members from the previous year.

伊原摩耶花

Mayaka is a fairly short and small framed girl, standing at 148 cm (4'10"). She has short sepia-brown hair that is cut just below her ears. She has short diagonal bangs that are cut above her eyebrows (Mayaka's hair is generally styled in a way that fans out near the bottom, though on occasion she wears it up in small pigtails) and fandango-pink eyes (they sparkle whenever she reads manga). Mayaka is principally seen in the Kamiyama High School uniform. When not in her school uniform, she dresses in a rather "casual chic" style. She also does cosplay of classic manga characters.

福部里志

Fukube went to the same Kaburaya Middle School as Oreki and Ibara, though not in the same class. From there, he got acquainted with Oreki through some circumstances and henceforth, their relationship stood as frenemies. Fukube was a member of both the school's Executive Committee and the Handicrafts Club before joining the Classics Club.

大日向 友子

Tomoko is a lively cheerful girl, she seems confident on the outside and a bit hard-headed, but she is actually an anxious girl with a constant fear of being judged for her past actions.
