Gilbert Nightray (ギルバート＝ナイトレイ, Girubāto Naitorei), usually nicknamed Gil (ギル, Giru) or Raven (鴉 (レイブン) , Karasu「Reibun」), is one of the protagonists of Jun Mochizuki's Pandora Hearts. He is the childhood friend and former valet of Oz Vessalius. An amnesiac, he first met Oz fifteen years before the events of the story with no memory of his family or past.

Oz Vessalius

オズ・ベザリウス

Oz Vessalius (オズ＝ベザリウス, Ozu Bezariusu) is the protagonist of Jun Mochizuki's Pandora Hearts. He is the eldest child of the Vessalius Dukedom and its rightful heir. During his Coming-of-Age Ceremony he is thrown into the mystical prison the Abyss, where he creates an Illegal Contract with Alice, a Chain also known as the B-Rabbit. Under threat of arrest, he joins the government research organization Pandora.

Ada Vessalius

エイダ・ベザリウス

Ada Vessalius (エイダ＝ベザリウス, Eida Bezariusu) is a supporting character from Jun Mochizuki's Pandora Hearts. She is Oz Vessalius's younger sister and friend of Gilbert Nightray, she attended Oz's Coming-of-Age Ceremony at eight years old, though she would not bear witness to her elder brother's disappearance. Over the ten years since her brother's exile into Abyss, Ada maintained her friendship with Gilbert. At age eighteen, during her last year at prestigious Lutwidge Academy, Ada fell in love.
