The dogs have been at peace, and all has seemingly gone well. However soon the monstrous bear Monsoon attacks, wanting to claim Futago Pass as his own. All the while getting vengeance for his father, Akakabuto who was killed by Gin during the events of Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. Victory is not assured for the dogs, as an aging Gin has started to go blind. And the Supreme Commander Weed is fatally injured by one of Monsoon's kin. Weed's children have been sent away for training, and are oblivious to the crisis at hand. Can the soldiers of Ouu defeat this new take on an old threat? Or is this truly be to their last fight?

MAINLike his father Akakabuto, Monsoon is a huge bear with a red-furred back. Currently, it is unknown how large he is, as his father's size was due to a mutation. It is said that his size was due to his burning hatred of the Ou Army and his continued training to grow stronger to defeat them. His kin are a lot smaller than he is, as he towers over them.

SUPPORTINGHe is the younger brother of Akatora and Chūtora and is the father of Harutora, Kagetora and Nobutora. As well he is the Uncle of Buru, Dodo, Shigure and Shōji.

SUPPORTINGHe is polite but ready to show to the overly confident dogs their place. He also saves Akatora from Bill's dog and is ready to protect Gin with his life, showing his rightfulness and courage. He has negative opinion of Bill, seeing him as a criminal. However, he respects the Ohu dogs due to their honorable goal.
