シルーカ・メルテス

Siluca Meletes (シルーカ・メレテス, Shirūka meretesu) is the main female protagonist throughout the series. She is a young mage that has a great amount of potential and talent, and wishes to stop the feuding of lords. She forms a contract with Theo and she possesses a cat familiar who can travel through shadows and is the king of the cat kingdom.

テオ・コルネーロ

Theo Cornaro (テオ・コルネーロ) is the main protagonist of the series. A wandering knight who obtained a Crest from a Chaos Core. He comes from Sistina, a village ravaged by Chaos and oppressed by their Lord, Viscount Phederico Rossini. After rescuing Siluca Meletes from soldiers and telling her his goal to free his hometown, he forms a contract with her and together they fight to stop the feuding lords and end the Chaos era.

マリーネ・クライシェ

Marrine Kreische (マリーネ・クライシェ, Marīne Kuraishe) is the Margrave now in charge of the Factory Alliance and the Lord of Waldlind after her father Mathias Kreische, the late Archduke of Factory Alliance was killed along with the Archduke of the Fantasia Union, Sylvester Deux on her wedding day. While she is still in love with Alexis, the political tensions between the Alliance and the Union has made it impossible to talk with Alexis in a peaceful setting. In addition, her vow to honor her father's memory as leader of the Alliance has set her actions down a warpath; making her believe that her love for Alexis is impossible to maintain.

ヴィラール・コンスタンス

Villar Constance is the Earl of Altirk and Marrine's cousin despite being from the Fantasia Union. He is an earl who rules over Altirk on the eastern side of the continent. Rumor has it that he’ll only agree to contracts with attractive female students at the magic university; not only that, but once they turn 25, he voids their contracts and pairs up with a new female student. This is why he’s known as the Lustful Earl. He was the Lord that Siluca was en route to until she met Theo.

アーヴィン

Irvin is a demon seal holder, which basically is a seal that gives him extreme fighting capabilities. He is also one of the strongest ones, holding the title of Chamberlain, being one of the guards to the Archdukes (the highest level of crest-holders). His movements are usually unseeable to the untrained eye. He becomes Siluca's guard after realizing her abilities when she was the only one who recognized danger from the Chaos that killed the two Archdukes.

アレクシス・ドゥーセ

Alexis Doucet is the Margrave now in charge of Fantasia Union and Lord of Jalucia. He was the son of Sylvester Doucet, the late archduke of the Fantasia Union. An idealist and romanticist, he was to marry Marrine Kreische until a Chaos crashed the wedding and killed both of their fathers. While he is deeply in love with Marrine and wishes to marry her, the disaster at their wedding and the political bickering had made it all but impossible to reach out to her.
