Ihwa (이화) is the main protagonist and titular Hero Killer of the action manhwa, Hero Killer. She is a notorious Villain with a growing reputation as one of the deadliest Villains in the world, who seeks to avenge her older sister, Yeon's death, while slowly becoming a "star" throughout her adventures. After departing from the Nameless, Ihwa has begun building her own independent power with the help of her family, Clan I, and allies like Chain and Chaos, forming a moderate alliance with Warden Pact.

엔젠

Engen (엔젠), also known as the Smiling Man, is the deuteragonist of Hero Killer. He is the leader of New Nera and was once a central figure of the major conflicts from the previous era of Nera that fought in both the War of Inheritance as an heir to the throne of Nera and as its second king during the Great War over a century ago.

Victoria (빅토리아) is an extremely powerful Gift user and a member of the Elders, the nine strongest Gift users in the world. She is the District Lord of Rhodos but was once an infamous pirate captain who sailed across the world as she sought out challenges in the form of worthy opponents while raiding with her crew, the Knights of Rhodos and Hekate centuries ago and the archenemy of the The Steel Witch.

레이첼 싱클레어

Rachel Sinclair (레이첼 싱클레어) is a Villain and a member of New Nera as one of the youngest. She is an illegitimate daughter of the late Mad Elder, Reagan Sinclair as one of the numerous ones aside from her older half siblings Raxfer Sinclair, Razenia Sinclair, and many others.

Ijincheon (이진천), also known as the Sword Hunter, is the Executioner of the Silver Forest (一刀殺) of the Four Swordsmen and the first of the four former disciples of the previous Executioner. He is the father of Ihwa, the Hero Killer and her late older sister, Yeon as well as the widower of their late mother and his wife, Luenna.

Padrius Encilion (페이드리우스 엔실리온), also known as Bishop (비숍) and God of the Seas (해신 (海神), is an extremely powerful Gift user and a member of the Elders, the nine strongest Gift users in the world.

유신

Yushin (유신), also known as the Ghost of Dust City (먼지의 도시 유령), is a notorious Villain and an exceptional sword master. He is the adoptive grandfather and former mentor of Ihwa, the Hero Killer, raising her after the deaths of both her older sister, Yeon, and uncle, Huiyeon.

락스퍼 싱클레어

Raxfer Sinclair (락스퍼 싱클레어) was a son of the Mad Elder, Reagan Sinclair and the lord of the Green Tower within Castle Gray's lands. He served as a strategic advisor for the Hero Clan but was actually a double agent for his father. He was one of the only three children recognized by his father and implied to be the middle child between his older brother and Razenia Sinclair, his younger sister. He was also the villain Rachel Sinclair's older half-brother.

샤프슈터

Kirine, also known by her codename Sharpshooter, is a member of the Hero Clan and the former disciple of Chaos. She was once a member of the 17th Division of Dust City before her captured by the Nameless's attack and the destruction of the division.
