For Tanpopo Yamazaki, life at the elitist Meio Academy seems way out of her league. The daughters of wealthy families snub her, other students make light of the fact that she actually tested into Meio instead of relying on family connections, and the cute boy she saw tending a dandelion the day before wouldn't even acknowledge her existence. Hoping to make friends and have some fun, Tanpopo starts up a gardening committee, but will this help her survive in a school where superficiality and nepotism reign supreme?

MAINTanpopo Yamazaki (山崎たんぽぽ Yamazaki Tanpopo) is a the main character in Imadoki. is a cheerful girl from Hokkaido who wanted to come to a school in Tokyo and kept on applying but was only accepted by one- Meio Academy. Since entry to Meio from a cram school she has wanted to make tons of friends including a boy named Koki Kugyo that she started a planting committee for.
内村有佐
MAINArisa Uchimura (内村有佐 Uchimura Arisa) is a character in Imadoki. She wears heavy white makeup and has very tanned skin, earning her the nickname "reverse raccoon". She prefers partying to schoolwork and has a reputation for being a party girl, but after meeting Tanpopo and discovering that she is pregnant by Ogata, she begins to change for the better.
西園寺月子
MAINTsuki Saionji (西園寺月子 Saionji Tsukiko) is a character in Imadoki. She igoes to Meio Academy. Though she appears rather innocent, Tsukiko originally is not very sweet at all, but her friendship with Tanpopo gradually softens her personality and she becomes more caring and loyal. She has her heart set on marrying into the Kugyou family, specifically Kouki, although she eventually gets over this longing after realizing Kouki and Tanpopo's feelings for each other.
