This novel is an alternate setting where the world of GJ-bu is a novel written by Kyouya Shinomiya, member of the KB, a club in which everyone writes stories. Every character from GJ-bu is in the world of KB-bu, but there are a bit differente from their personalities of GJ-bu. Mao writes action stories and doesn't bite Kyouya head, Shion writes erotic doushinji and is more asertive with Kyouka, Megumi writes stories with an evil princess main character, and Kirara, who is shy and quiet, makes picture books.

MAINShion Sumeragi (Shii for short) is a genius who comes from a family of people with similar prowess in different fields. She has purple hair and violet eyes and has a low body temperature. She has a younger brother, who is a barista. One of her most notable traits is that she lacks common sense.

MAINMao Amatsuka is the eldest of the Amatsuka family and the GJ Club's president. She has the habit of biting and picking on Kyōya when she is bored or angry. She can't stand kissing, and barely tolerate the idea of a forehead or cheek kiss.

MAINMegumi Amatsuka, nicknamed Megu, is the middle child of the Amatsuka family. She is taller than her older sister, Mao Amatsuka, and has pink hair and eyes. She is a nice girl, and is always seen making tea inside the club room. She always seems to have a calm demeanor even when everyone else in the club is scared.

MAINKirara Bernstein is a senior member of the GJ-Club. She is always seen eating meat of some sort and she tends to be very possessive of it. The one person she will share it with is Kyōya Shinomiya. She can talk to cats and she has a huge fear of spiders due to being bitten by a venomous one when she was younger.
