Sicily von Claude (シシリー フォン クロード, Shishirī fon Kurōdo), called Sicily Wolford since Volume 12, is a member of Ultimate Magic Research Society who ranks 4th in the first year S-Class. She also becomes the fiancée of Shin Wolford.

シン ウォルフォード

Shin Wolford (シン ウォルフォード, Shin Worufōdo) is the main character of Kenja no Mago. After dying in a car accident he was reincarnated into an unknown world carrying with him a vague memory of his past life in Japan. He is the leader of Ultimate Magic Research Society and ranks 1st in the first year S-Class.

Maria von Messina (マリア フォン メッシーナ, Maria fon Messhīna) is a member of Ultimate Magic Research Society and ranks 3rd in the first year S-Class. She is the 2nd daughter of Countess Messina.

アウグスト＝フォン＝アールスハイド

August von Earlshide (アウグスト フォン アールスハイド, Augusuto fon Ārusuhaido) is the crown prince of the Earlshide Kingdom and the close friend of Shin Wolford. He has a cousin-like relationship because of the relationship between Diseum von Earlshide (August's father) and Merlin Wolford (Shin's adoptive grandfather). He is also a member of Ultimate Magic Research Society and ranks 2nd in first year S-Class.

Oliveira von Schtradius (オリベイラ フォン ストラディウス, Oribeira fon Sutoradiusu), more commonly known as Oliver Schtrom (オリバー シュトローム, Oribā Shutorōmu) is the quintessential villain of the series. He caused the increase of demons and devils in the kingdoms by using common people.

Merlin Wolford (マーリン・ウォルフォード, Mārin Worufōdo) is the adoptive grandfather of Shin. He is a renowned Hero who subjugated the first devil with Melinda.

Melida Bowen (メリダ ボーウェン, Merida Bōuen) is Shin's adopted Grandmother, the famous Guru who created magical gear through powerful enchantments. She used to be married to Merlin but due to unknown reasons, the two divorced.

Thor von Flegel (トール フォン フレーゲル, Tōru fon Furēgeru) is a member of Ultimate Magic Research Society and ranks 6th in the first year S-Class. He also acts as an escort for Gus along with his partner Julius. He is usually serious in his job. Thor is the eldest son of Baron Flegel.

マーク＝ビーン

Mark Bean (マーク ビーン, Māku Bīn) is a member of Ultimate Magic Research Society who use to be an A-Class student however due to a significant improvement in his magic control after joining the group, he was elevated to S-Class along with Olivia. He currently ranks 11th in the first year S-Class. Mark always ends his sentences with "-desu."
