纏流子

Ryūko Matoi (纏 (まとい) 流 (りゅう) 子 (こ) , Matoi Ryūko) is the main protagonist of Kill la Kill. She transferred to Honnōji Academy searching for the twin of her red Scissor Blade and the person who used the weapon to murder her father, Isshin Matoi.

満艦飾マコ

Mako Mankanshoku (満艦 (まんかん) 飾 (しょく) マコ (まこ) , Mankanshoku Mako) is the best friend of Ryūko Matoi and tritagonist of Kill la Kill. She is a goofy, aggressive, energetic girl who attends Honnōji Academy.

鬼龍院皐月

Satsuki Kiryūin (鬼 (き) 龍 (りゅう) 院 (いん) 皐 (さ) 月 (つき) , Kiryūin Satsuki) is the deuteragonist of Kill la Kill. She is the daughter of Ragyō and Sōichirō Kiryūin, the president of Honnōji Academy's Student Council and the ruler over its surrounding land. She has absolute authority over the academy and is regarded with reverence by many of its residents.

鮮血

Senketsu (鮮血 (せんけつ) , lit. fresh blood) is a Kamui created by Isshin Matoi, who is later revealed to be Sōichirō Kiryūin, and is a major character in Kill la Kill. Appearing as a sentient sailor uniform, he was found by his creator's daughter, Ryūko Matoi, becoming her primary ally in her battle against Satsuki Kiryūin and, later, Ragyō Kiryūin and COVERS.

蟇郡 苛

Ira Gamagōri (蟇 (がま) 郡 (ごうり) 苛 (いら) , Gamagōri Ira) is one of the main characters in Kill la Kill and part of the Student Council's Elite Four. He is Satsuki Kiryūin's loyal, massive enforcer who leads the disciplinary committee at Honnōji Academy, and, being a member of the Elite Four, has a Three-Star Goku Uniform. He refers to himself under the title of Satsuki's "Impenetrable Shield".

針目縫

Nui Harime (針 (はり) 目 (め) 縫 (ぬい) , Harime Nui) is the secondary antagonist of Kill la Kill. She is the Grand Couturier of the Revocs Corporation, as well as the murderer of Isshin Matoi, from whom she took one half of the Scissor Blade. For this reason, she is the one Ryūko Matoi seeks to kill in order to complete her quest of vengeance. She is known for cute appearance, sadistic yet childish nature, and incredible fighting power.

Sukuyo Mankanshoku (満艦 (まんかん) 飾 (しょく) 好 (すく) 代 (よ) , Mankanshoku Sukuyo) is a carefree housewife who is kind to Ryūko Matoi, the wife of Barazō Mankanshoku and the mother Mako Mankanshoku & Matarō Mankanshoku.
