Satsuki Shinonome

Satsuki Shinonome (東雲 皐月 Shinonome Satsuki) is a second-year student. She is in the student council and is the head of the financial affairs department. She is a wise girl and is a strong candidate in the next student council president election. Her family manages a wagashi shop. She goes to school by bicycle. She develops a crush on Yūki Ōjima (where she met Yuki after bumping into him. Ever since then, they've been friends even though they are running against each other for presidency of the student council) that she tends to give him made up names. She and Hazuki Shinonome have a strained relationship because of family issues, but she later understands her after learning the truth about Hazuki's birth.

Chisato Sumiyoshi

Chisato Sumiyoshi (住吉 千里 Sumiyoshi Chisato) is a sophomore at the Academy, the president of the Research Club at Takafuji Private Academy and the childhood friend and neighbour of Yūki Ōjima who does not like chocolates due to the death of Daiki Sumiyoshi (Chisato's deceased younger brother).

Michiru Morishita

Michiru Morishita (森下 未散, Morishita Michiru) is a first-year student in Takafuji Academy and a classmate of Isara Aomi who joined the Shokken club right before the student council election. It is later reveled that she was was working with the public safety commision.

Mifuyu Kiba (木場 美冬, Kiba Mifuyu) is a kind-spirited young student who is a second year like Chisato Sumiyoshi (Mifuyu's best friend). However, Mifuyu had surgery and had to start a year after everyone else, which led her to feeling a sense of inferiority and discomfort when she initially joined the school. She is secretly in love with Yūki Ōjima, but she holds back from admitting her feelings due to not wanting to risk her friendship with Chisato, wishing her to be happy and that she supports her and Yuki being together.

Isara Aomi

Isara Aomi (青海 衣更, Aomi Isara) is a first-year student who lives with her mother and two younger brothers. She secretly works part-time at a factory and fast food restaurant because her family is poor, for which she is bullied by the wealthier students constantly both physically and verbally.

Hazuki Shinonome (東雲 葉月 , Shinonome Hazuki) is a 23-year-old teacher at Takafuji Academy, the adviser for FRC and the older sister of Satsuki Shinonome. She secretly loves Yūki Ōjima. She initially believed she was the daughter of her father's first wife, but she later discovers that she is in fact the illegitimate daughter of her father's then-mistress as her father's first wife later dies and he marries his mistress, who later gives birth to Satsuki. Upon realizing this, Hazuki became depressed and left the family.

Oboro Yumeshima (夢島 朧) is a first-year student and is the vice-president of Shokken. His parent manages a large confectionery company named Umachin and he tends to sexually harass Yūki Ōjima, much to his annoyance.
