There is a saying that if you find a Japanese maple leaf with eight tips you will find everlasting love. A popular high school actress is now making a film about that legend at the main character's high school, who in turn has a crush on her. One day after school he runs into her and helps her escape from some pursuing staff members. It turns out that since she started acting right after middle school she hasn't had any experience with love and that is hurting the production of the movie. So to get some experience with love she invites him out on a date.

MAINSana is considered cute by many at first sight, including Shōta himself. Sana is depicted to have dark brown hair and dark violet eyes at early colored illustrations, but in the volume cover arts, she's shown to have light brown eyes. As for chapter 12's colored illustration art, she's shown to have dark indigo hair and rather light violet-ish eyes. She usually wears a hair tie with 2 vermillion-colored balls attached to it to hold her hair up.
七里 由比
MAINYui is portrayed as a girl who has short, vermilion-colored hair and is known by her peers as a gravure idol who is well-endowed and is very attractive. Outside of school grounds and film work, she is often seen wearing revealing clothing, although around her friends she can be seen wearing casual clothes.
Kotori is portrayed to have long, blonde hair, often tied into twintails. In rare ocassions, when she is disguising herself, she lets her hair down. She has bluish-purple eyes. She also has a rather small build despite her age, even mistaken by Shōta to be younger than him.
She is very dedicated in her work as Sana's manager, and thus at most times she is very strict and lenient. However, one could also say that she deeply cares about Sana, and often times she is portrayed as her guardian in the manga. However, she also has a hidden desire towards the actress, often times with her fantasizing about her due to Sana's naivety as well as her clumsiness combined, making an adorable little child in her eyes.
