Masuda Keima just wants to sleep. Too bad for him, he’s been pulled from sweet dreams and comfy sheets into a fantasy dungeon in another world! Not only is he charged with protecting it, but failure to do so will cost him his life. His only guide is the personification of the Dungeon Core, Rokuko–but she’s a moron who can’t even figure out how to drive away a group of bandits. If Keima ever wants to get some quality shut-eye again, he’ll have to take over running this dungeon himself!

Her extreme gambling addiction led to her being enslaved, but she was picked up by Keima on an outing to the nearby town. Her devotion to him is based entirely on her desire to eat exotic tasty foods that Keima can provide using Dungeon Points.

MAINKeima is the protagonist of the Lazy Dungeon Master. He is the lazy dungeon master. He was summoned into Rokuko's world from Japan as a gatcha game prize and was tasked with getting rid of the bandits that had taken up residence in Rokuko's dungeon, a normal, small cave. After craftily defeating the invaders, he becomes Rokuko's dungeon master, tasked with advancing the dungeon.
