Kyousuke Natsume (棗 恭介 Natsume Kyōsuke) is the leader/the original founder of the Little Busters and the older brother of Rin Natsume (by a year).

Rin Natsume

Rin Natsume (棗 鈴 Natsume Rin) is the main heroine in the series. She is the younger sister of Kyousuke Natsume and the second but only female member out of the five original Little Busters members.

Yuiko Kurugaya

Yuiko is a beautiful girl with straight thigh-length black hair that has a yellow ribbon on the left side of her hair with bangs hanging on either side where it exposes her forehead and her eye color is something between blue and purple. Besides being the tallest of the girls, she also has the biggest breasts, for that reason, she doesn't completely close her shirt.

Komari Kamikita

Komari Kamikita (神北 小毬, Kamikita Komari) is an optimistic girl from Riki Naoe's class, the sixth Little Busters member, the presumed granddaughter of Kojirou Kamikita and the younger sister of Takuya Kamikita.

Riki Naoe (直枝 理樹, Naoe Riki) is the main protagonist of the series and the fifth member of the Little Busters. In Little Busters Refrain he becomes Rin Natsume's boyfriend.

Like Kanata Futaki, Haruka is a pale-skinned girl with magenta hair that is tied in two ponytails with two clips in her hair at her forehead to differ her appearance from her sister and dark blue eyes.

In the real world, Mio was feeling guilty over having forgotten an imaginary friend she used to have, who comes to life in the artificial world as Midori. She uses the parasol because she is trying to hide that she has no shadow; this is due to Midori using Mio's shadow to materialize her own body. Mio was originally designed by Na-Ga to wear glasses, but this was later dropped. However, players can still view her CG with glasses during Riki Naoe's déjà vu flashback of Mio, though this is meant to be a deception by Midori.

Masato Inohara (井ノ原 真人, Inohara Masato) is the third member of the Little Busters, the roommate of Riki Naoe and a rival of Kengo Miyazawa.
