Fuu Hououji

Fuu Hououji (鳳凰寺ほうおうじ 風ふう, Hōōji Fū) is one of the three main protagonists of the Magic Knight Rayearth manga and anime series. She is the Magic Knight that represents the wind element.

Mokona

モコナ

Mokona resembles a bunny at most, white and fluffy with long ears and feet. It's noted by Fuu that he is seemingly elastic and bouncy. A red circular gem adorns his forehead, though during certain moments, it has glowed blue, green, or yellow. He does not have paw pads, but rather a singular pink pad on his feet and paws. He also has a small tail, which mostly goes unnoticed unless being viewed from behind.

Zagato

ザガート

Zagato was the older brother of Lantis, alongside whom he was trained by Master Mage Clef. After becoming the High Priest of Cephiro, Zagato fell in love with Princess Emeraude, the Pillar of Cephiro. Emeraude, knowing that the Pillar could not love anything other than Cephiro, was so upset by her lack of will that she imprisoned herself in the water dungeon to avoid seeing Zagato (Note: The anime differs in that Zagato did abduct and imprison Emeraude in order to protect her and prevent her from summoning the Magic Knights, without success). Zagato does not reveal this to the Magic Knights or Cephiro's people, aiming to destroy the Knights when they come after him and in turn, making everyone think and letting them believe he was a true villain. Only Emeraude and Clef (and in the anime, Inouva) knew of his true intentions from the start.
