MAINIremi is one of the main protagonists of the series. She likes to change clothes often, and spends money like water. With apparent cruelty, Iremi often beats on companions and enemies alike, including Enzu, her best friend, and Ethermask. However this is only in jest and she actually cares a great deal for her companions and would do anything to protect them. Iremi's incredible magical talent and high-strung personality make her an entity most are incapable of ignoring.

MAINEnzu is one of the main protagonist of the Magician series. At the start of the series he sees his "father", Sir Henry, killed by Edan, and thus sets out on a quest to avenge him. Enzu decides to follow Edermask in hopes of becoming powerful enough to take on and kill Edan.

SUPPORTINGMore than 40 years before the beginning of the main story-line, Jean was acquainted with a girl named Matthew who is half-dragon, half-human. He grew up with her not knowing of her true self. When they grew up into adults it was accidentally revealed to him the half-draconian nature of Matthew which cause both panic to him and Matthew causing the transformation of Matthew into a dragon. Luckily, monks were passing by during the commotion and immediately sealed Matthew into an egg. Most probably because of the trauma of that day, Jean forgot to take the egg to the monks to unseal it to free Matthew. Jean stashed the egg and forgot about it for 40 years.
