Tenka Izumo

A fellow leader in the Demon Defense Force, Tenka is one of the first members outside of the 7th Squad that Yuuki would meet (along with her second-in-command). Initially introduced as a contrast to the serious, stoic Kyouka, Tenka wears her heart on her sleeve. Beneath her friendly, affectionate nature lies an incredibly strong fighter—both against the denizens of Mato, and for Yuuki Wakura's attention and desire.

Kyouka Uzen

Kyouka is the sole survivor of a Mato Mishap which destroyed her home, claimed the lives of her family and friends, and left her for dead. After recovering from her injuries, she trained herself relentlessly with the goal of exterminating the Shuuki which were responsible for this disaster. Kyouka eventually enlisted in the Demon Defense Force to protect others from suffering the same fate she did, and to avenge her lost family and home.

Yuuki Wakura

A high school graduate, Yuuki was embroiled in a Mato Mishap, and was rescued by the 7th Squad of the Demon Defense Force led by Kyouka Uzen. After aiding the latter in defeating a horde of Shuuki, Kyouka invites him to work for the DDF under her command. Wishing to become a hero and to avenge his older sister, who disappeared in a similar incident, Yuuki accepts the offer. He currently works as a full-time dormitory caretaker for the DDF's 7th Unit, and also serves as Kyouka's combat slave on DDF missions.

Himari Azuma

Himari is a beautiful curvaceous young woman and a year older than Yuuki Wakura with back-length dark sea-green hair that is tied in a bow on the back of her head with long bangs brushed to the right side of her head and amber eyes. Recently, her body has become more womanly, as Yuuki noted.

Fubuki Azuma

She serves in the Demon Defense Force as Chief of its 9th Unit. Fubuki is also a second-generation member of the Azuma Family, and is the mother of several other characters and DDF personnel, including Maia, Yachiho, and Himari.

Tobera Azuma

東海桐花

Despite her advanced age, Tovera has the appearance of a young teenage girl (this is presumably related to her Peach Blessing). She has short dark hair, with two locks of hair tied up in braids. She is almost always seen wearing a sailor-style schoolgirl uniform and wears a hairband.
