メグミ・レイナード

She is cute, perky and blunt at times. Megumi has no love for war and killing in general. This is why she has a lot in common with Akito Tenkawa, who only wants to be a cook, not a pilot.

星野ルリ

Ruri is more intelligent than the rest of crew, and is seen as something of a "child prodigy" . Ruri is often shown disparaging the inane antics of her older co-workers, usually by use of her catchphrase "baka bakka" (バカばっか, bunch of fools). According to her backstory, Ruri has a special affinity with computers due to genetic engineering, something that also affects her attitude towards others .

真木イズミ

At first glance, Izumi resembles a member of the Goth subculture, with her long dark hair, pale skin and far-away look. From some perspectives she resembles a giddy corpse. She could be considered attractive, but only in a darkly unsettling way. Her original Japanese voice acting is considered booming and ominous, especially for a woman.

Nagare Akatsuki (アカツキ・ナガレ, Akatsuki Nagare) is an Aestivalis pilot who first appears after the Nadesico reappears near the Moon after disappearing from Mars as part of the task force from the battleship Cosmos. He soon joins the regular cast as a pilot and is a very skilled one. Nagare has the reputation of being a playboy, though he is often seen with Jun Aoi and Seiya Uribitake eating instant ramen, lamenting over Akito Tenkawa's inexplicable luck with the women of the Nadesico.
