These are different stories involving Devilman's world. Some are about Devilman and add to the mythology some are separate stories that don't involve Devilman but take place the same time as the events in the original Devilman manga. They are illustrated by various artists. There are some color pages in the start middle and toward the end. There are some truly amazing art and stories in these volumes.
Number one is written and illustrated by Lazy Hagawari, Tatsuya Egawa, Katsuya Terada, Ken Ishikawa, Go Nagai and Shinichi Hiromoto.
Number two is written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki, Noriko Nagano, Go Nagai, Akihiko Takadera and Kazuko Yumeno.
Number three is written and illustrated by Noburu Miyama, Miki Toro, Shinobu Kaze, Sho-u Tajima, Masaomi Kanzaki, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Iou Kuroda.

MAINThe real Ryo Asuka was the son of Professor Asuka and an unnamed American woman. He died an unspecified amount of time before the start of the manga, and his identity is assumed by Satan. Ryo Asuka’s birthday is March 6.

MAINThe idea for Devilman came about when Nagai was approached by Toei about adapting his manga 'Demon Lord Dante' to television, but wanted certain elements to be toned down and a more appealing main character.

In her early appearances, she is drawn with a normal lower torso and a headless neck sometimes protruding from her scalp, but later she appears to be a full cephalothorax, with her arms and legs growing directly from her head.
ジンメン
SUPPORTINGJinmen resembles a large bipedal turtle with a forked tongue, and a noticeably muscular physique. Jinmen's shell at times appears a regular shell seen in some artwork and overtime, but the pattern changes when Jinmen devours a lifeform (human, demon, etc.).
