Masked Deuce is an alias used by the first member of Ace's pirate crew, the Spade Pirates, usually referred to as just "Deuce" or "Deu". He abandoned his real name, which remains unknown, but is known to have come from a prominent East Blue family of medical professionals. Despite nominally being the head of the crew besides Ace, Deuce could struggle being respected by the crew, often relying on Skull and Mihar, the crew's other officers. Deuce also came to be referred to as "Doc" by at least Whitebeard after being integrated into the medical staff of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Jinbe's name comes from jinbei-zame (甚平鮫), which means "whale shark" in Japanese. His epithet, Kaikyou would normally translate into "Strait" or "Channel". However since the kanji for it is written as (海侠の) and not (海峡の), the kyou part (侠) of it comes from (任侠), a honorific used when addressing a high ranking yakuza member, thus making his epithet a Japanese pun.

His first appearance was during the Whole Cake Island Arc, as one of the more high-profile guests in Big Mom's Tea Party. Since then, Morgans has been a frequent figure in the world's ongoings, usually by being the first to report on them to the general public.

Yasopp, known as "Chaser", is one of the Senior Officers and the sniper of the Red Hair Pirates. He is also the father of Usopp and the widower of Banchina.

Thatch was the 4th division commander, as well as the head chef of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was murdered by Marshall D. Teach for his Devil Fruit.
