The first volume of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen was released in 2005 by ADV Manga. It tells us about Azalie, Orphen's love-interest, and best friend from six years ago, much sooner than the anime does. In the first manga we are told almost exactly what the eighth episode (titled "Azalie") of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen tells us about her. The story in the manga follows the anime but more the Novels almost exactly, except for information coming up earlier, or later.

MAINCleao is a beautiful teenage girl with fair skin, long blonde hair and pale blue eyes. She has disheveled bangs with two signature twirls of hair on each side of her head.

SUPPORTINGMajic is a young man with blue eyes and blonde hair of medium length. He's a skinny teenager with pale skin that sports different casual attire fitting that of a civilian.
チャイルドマン・パウダーフィールド
SUPPORTINGAs a result of experiments between Childman and Azalie, it is beleived that Azalie is transformed into the Bloody August. Childman leads several missions to destroy the Bloody August and eventually succeeds. However, it was revealed that Azalie used White Sorcery to transfer her soul into his body, trapping him in the Bloody August. Then she destroyed the Bloody August, killing Childman.
