Chiwa is a country ruled by eight families that originate from mythology. The members of the eight families have special powers called "jutsu", and a man with particularly strong jutsu will ascend to the throne of Chiwa.
Long ago, one of the eight families, the Amaha family, left the capital, causing chaos, but this subsided when a girl from Amaha is chosen to be the hostage queen.
This time, Amaha Awayuki was chosen to be the wife of the new king, Ichimine Naruya.
