MAINKanji Sawatari (沢渡漢字, Sawatari Kanji), often referred to as "Saru", is a character in Peach Girl: Sae's Story. He is the childhood friend/childhood "sweetheart" of Sae Kashiwagi who made a promise with her that they would get married when he comes back after he announced that he was moving to Malaysia.

SUPPORTINGShe has large brown eyes, a tan complexion, full lips, and light-colored hair (copper in the anime, whereas manga illustrations depict it as blonde). Because of her appearance, she often gets mistaken for a beach bunny or a ganguro.
