ディードリット

Deedlit is a high elf from the spirit world. Her home is the Forest of No Return. She has a great appreciation for nature, reflected in her magical summons Sylph, the spirit of wind, Undine, the spirit of water, and Jinn, the king spirit of wind. She wields a thin elven sword and daggers. She can be incredibly fast and can match the attacks of dark elves like Pirotess.

パーン

Parn is the son of Tessius, a disgraced Holy Knight of Valis. Setting out from his small country hometown, Zaxon, Parn seeks the truth about his father's dishonorable discharge and aims to become a worthy fighter. As he grows older, fighting in several wars and traveling across Lodoss with various companions, he endeavors to aid people of all different backgrounds and eventually becomes known as the Free Knight, and later, the Knight of Lodoss.

In the novels and the Chronicles of the Heroic Knight anime, Etoh becomes the King of Valis. Though never explicitly stated in the Chronicles anime, in the novels this is confirmed to be through marriage to Princess Fianna. In the Next Generation novels, after abdicating the throne, he becomes the High Priest of Pharis; in the Chronicles anime, he is already the High Priest at the time Spark and his group first meet him.

Following the events of Lodoss, Ashram led his forces to the island of Crystania and made a pact with the evil animal god Barbas to allow his forces to enter the sealed island. Ashram finally met his end when he was released from the Barbas pact by Pirotess and Redon.

カーラ

Karla believes Kastuul was destroyed because it had become too powerful. She tries to protect Lodoss from suffering a similar fate by maintaining a balance between the forces on the island. Whenever a force threatens to become too strong Karla will interfere and adjust fate a little. Because of her desire to maintain balance she is neither called white witch nor black witch, but the Grey Witch.

Realizing that Leylia has been possessed, Ghim ultimately sets out alone to challenge Karla and free Leylia from the Grey Witch's control. Fortunately for him, Ghim will not stand alone in this fight, even if that's not what he wants. In the face of Karla's awesome power, it is this team effort that finally allows Ghim to free Leylia from Karla's dreaded circlet, an act which would prove to be his final and redeeming act.

Soon after the war ended, activity began to stir at Fire Dragon Mountain. Shooting Star has awakened! He sets out there with his men to attempt to stop the ancient dragon.

After Ghim is killed and Leylia is freed, Slayn returns her to the Temple of Marfa. Eventually the two are married and have a daughter "Neese". Eventually he learns from Leylia's mother that Lodoss is about to enter a terrible crisis, and he sets out with Leylia to join Parn and the others in a titanic struggle for the future of their homeland. Their time together will open up new feelings toward each other even as great darkness begins to descend upon the Accursed Island. His and Parn's paths will cross once more, as Parn must reach Marmo before it is too late, even as Slayn must face his own destiny to accomplish this.

バグナード

Wagnard is a tall, pale, middle-aged man with short dark hair in a bowl cut and a dark beard. His ears are slightly pointed, and after he resurrects Kardis, he has visible fangs. He wears dark purple robes.
