湊智花

Tomoka Minato (湊 智花, Minato Tomoka) , nicknamed Mokkan or Tomo-chan or just Tomo , is the main heroine of the series. She is captain of Keishin Girls Basketball Team who is the only one who had played basketball before and the daughter of Shinobu Minato and Kaori Minato.

袴田ひなた

Hinata Hakamada (袴田 ひなた, Hakamada Hinata) is the smallest of the girls who often talks in a strange way, making sounds like "Oh~" or "Ah~", and has a huge collection of plush toys. Despite looking like she is the most innocent and naive of the team, sometimes her behavior suggests otherwise.

Maho Misawa (三沢 真帆, Misawa Maho) is the most energetic and flexible member of the team, who is always coming up with ideas that mostly seem to cause embarrassment for the other girls.

Airi Kashii (香椎 愛莉, Kashii Airi) , also called Airin , is the tallest and oldest girl (born in April) in the team who is also the quietest one among the "inner five".

永塚紗季

Saki Nagatsuka (永塚 紗季, Nagatsuka Saki) is the bespectacled and level-headed member of the team, she initially refused to join the basketball club, but was later convinced by Maho to join by giving her a custom-made eye-guard.

長谷川昴

He is a freshman from Nashiba High School, and an amateur basketball player, but has no team to play since the school's basketball club is deactivated. Later he is tasked by his aunt Mihoshi to coach an all female sixth grade school basketball team.

荻山葵

Aoi Ogiyama (荻山 葵, Ogiyama Aoi) ,also referred to as Aoicchi , is the childhood friend of Subaru Hasegawa who attends the same high school as Subaru where she is also in the same year as him who used to play Center for the Kirihara Middle School's girls basketball team.

篁美星

Mihoshi Takamura (篁 美星, Takamura Mihoshi), nicknamed Mii-tan /Mi-tan, Miho-nee and referred to as Takamura-sensei, is the sister of Nayu Hasegawa and the aunt of Subaru Hasegawa who works as a teacher at Keishin Academy and chosen as adviser of Keishin girls basketball team.

竹中夏陽
