Shuujun Kurata, a young man who possesses the power to "return by death," repeatedly relives the same two days with Yato Tsugahara—another girl aware of the loop—in a desperate attempt to save the woman he admires, Kotoka Sumi. However, no matter how many times he rewinds, Kotoka dies. As Shuujun sinks into despair over her unavoidable fate, Yato’s poison begins to seep in.
