On his fifteenth birthday, Yūsuke discovered that he was not truly related to his mother, Akane, and his sister, Rumi. His biological parents were Akane's close friends Haru and Ryōsuke, who were both involved in separate car-related accidents on the day of his birth. His mother died shortly after he and his twin brother Sasuke were born, and his father died to save a child in the street.

Hime Onizuka

Hime Onizuka (鬼塚 一愛), or Himeko (ヒメコ) as she is more commonly called, is a member of the Sket Dan who wields a field hockey stick.

Kuroda

Kuroda speaks in a similar fashion to Dante due to the latter's influence, but is also able to talk normally, much to the relief of the Sket Dan when he comes to them with a request.

Kazuyoshi Usui

笛吹和義

Kazuyoshi Usui (笛吹 和義), or Switch (スイッチ), as he is more commonly called, is the brains of the Sket Dan. As a result of the events that happened in his life, he opts to speak through a voice synthesizer on his computer.

Moe Yabasawa

矢場沢萌

Moe Yabasawa (矢場沢 萌 Yabasawa Moe) is a very overweight and unattractive girl who seemingly doesn't care about her appearance and a member of the cheer-leading club. She is extremely confident of her looks and (non-existent) popularity with the men, even to the point of making her sound arrogant. It is unknown how many boys she has dated, although we know on one account where she was simply dated for a bet.

Nanako Watanabe

Nanako Watanabe (渡辺 奈々子 Watanabe Nanako) is a character from the original oneshot who dated Ichirō Yamanaka in middle school.

Nakatani (中谷) is a student in class 2-A at Kaimei High School. Himeko often relays things she has heard from friends about her. Until chapter 176, she was only ever mentioned and her face has still yet to be shown.

Sumire Koike

小池すみれ

Sumire Koike (小池すみれ, Koike Sumire) was Himeko's friend in elementary school and is actually unaware of Himeko's time as the Onihime. Her sending Himeko a letter is ultimately what prompts the Sket Dan to visit her in Osaka for Golden Week.

Hidenori Shiga (志賀 秀徳, Shiga Hidenori) is a character from the original oneshot who forces Namiko to date him by threatening to reveal to Ichirō that she is not her sister, as Ichirō believes.
