Yato (夜 (や) ト (と) , Yato), also known by his given name, Yaboku (夜 (や) 卜 (ぼく) , Yaboku), is one of the main three protagonists of Noragami. He is an obscure god who aims to become a God of Fortune. In the past, he was known as a God of Calamity.

Yukine (雪 (ゆき) 音 (ね) , Yukine), whose real name is Haruki Tajima (田 (た) 嶋 (じま) 春 (はる) 樹 (き) , Tajima Haruki), is one of the three main protagonists of the ノラガミ Noragami series. He is Yato's shinki and guidepost, and a shinki of Father under the name Hagusa (莠 (はぐさ) , Hagusa).

Hajime Kindaichi (金田一 一 Kinda'ichi Hajime) is a Japanese high school genius with an IQ of 180 and possesses great deductive prowess. He is the grandson of a famous detective. He is also the main protagonist of the series.
