Musashi is a massive young man, able to seemingly loom over the similarly huge Honda Tadakatsu. He is a simple looking teenager with a sprawling mop of purple-coloured hair atop his head and similarly coloured eyes. He wears a dirty green coloured tattered sleeveless kimono tied with a burgundy sash and wraps his neck, forearms and lower legs in scuffed bandages. Musashi goes around barefoot.

柳生宗矩

Yagyu is a pretty-looking young man with thin sharp features, thin eyes with pale irises, long mostly dark hair with a single long white-coloured bang that falls over the right side of his face and a single crescent moon chain earring hanging from his left ear. He wears a white kimono with a dark haori over it and carries his sword by his left hip.

本多忠勝

When initially introduced, the large-framed Tadakatsu was somewhat out-of-shape man, with a large beer gut but still bulky muscular arms, large thick unkempt hair with an equally thick large volume of full facial hair covering his face and distinctive black eyebrows. After hearing of the announcement of the Tenkaichi tournament, Tadakatsu returned to his prime physique with a well-defined and powerful body musculature, his voluminous pink hair set in a wild mane and his facial hair all shaven into a well-kempt short goatee. For the tournament, he wore a unique purple-coloured skin-tight upper body garment that covered only his shoulders and arms—leaving his chest and torso exposed, purple-coloured hakama with orange-coloured patterning extending downwards, tucked into similarly-coloured battlefield tabi, and waraji over his tabi on his feet. He also wore a set of large Zen Buddhist prayer beads that looped over his right shoulder and under his left arm.

服部半蔵

上泉伊勢守信綱

Kamiizumi is a noticeably older and aged individual, with a diminutive and frail looking stature. His heavily wrinkled face is almost completely obscured by his extremely long flowing whitened hair and equally long flowing whitened eyebrows, moustache and beard. He generally has either a tranquilly wise or a satisfied facial expression. Under normal conditions, Kamiizumi has noticeably darkened irises with whitened pupils although when stimulated by his battle lust, his irises become concentric and whiten while his pupils darken.

弥助

Yasuke is a dark-skinned African man, with a large muscular figure with voluminous Afro-textured hair and light tapered markings under each eye. He goes topless, wearing an Afro-themed kikoy over leg-garments. He carries multiple combat sticks strapped across his back.

宝蔵院胤舜

Hozoin is a diminutive figure (indicative of his younger age), with the typically shaven bald head of a monk, notably long decorative earrings and a set of large mala adorning his neck. He carries around with him his long jūmonji yari.

ウィリアム・アダムス

William was a notable Englishman with a well-defined and muscled figure, long fair-coloured hair that he tied into a loose flowing man bun, a full beard and a solidly self-confident expression on his face. He had several tattoos on his body: a large intricate compass in the centre of his upper back, a very simplified compass in the middle of his chest, a stylised sun over the sea on his right shoulder and a crescent moon with two stars on his left shoulder. When he first appeared, William wore a three-button waistcoat over a shirt with a brooched cravat, a long dark jacket over the top and a black hat atop his head; he carried his dirk by his left hip. During his fight with Yagyu Munenori, William went topless, wearing a pair of dark-coloured trousers, tying his shirt and plaid around his waist and finishing with a pair of 17th century jackboots.
