ルシウス・モデストゥス

Lucius is a skilled engineer and architect for Rome. For unknown reasons, if he - while in a dilemma - slips into a body of water and sinks to the bottom he will temporarily be transported to modern day Japan where he will discover a way to solve his issue.

レグルス

Regulus works for Lepidus. When Lepidus called Lucius Modestus to build him a bath outside, Regulus was tasked to help him. Since they were near a volcano, Regulus showed Lucius a nearby well that had warmer water. As Lucius entered, he emerged in modern Japan and came with the idea to make a hot spring.

マルクス・ピエトラス

Yoshida specializes in japanese baths. He was hired to build a roman bath and decided to take the job as it sounded exciting, so he studied roman baths. But when he met the client, he was disappointed on the plans he wanted, big breasts female statues and a gold bathtub. As he was making up the concept of the bath, Lucius Modestus arrived in his world, while holding a koi fish from the pond. Yoshida quickly took the fish back in the pond, but in the mean time Lucius noticed the roman bath plans and got happy. He revised the concept and started explaining how to do a roman bath, but he realized Yoshida's struggle when he saw the big breasted statues and the gold bathtub. He kept working with him and in the end Lucius and Yoshida came up with the idea to use the gold bathtub with a statue of the goddess Diana next to it. Three months later when the renovated hot spring opened, Yoshida received a lot of compliments for what he had done.

レピドゥス

Lepidus was on the death bed and couldn't walk anymore. Since he had visited Lucius Modestus's bath, he called him and asked him to make a bath outside his house, so he can enjoy the bath until he die. Lucius accepted and build him a hot spring as they were near a volcano. Surprisingly Lepidus got better from the hot spring and found a new wife and had a child with her.

アポロドルス

Apollodorus was with Lucius Modestus when they went to Jerusalem and Lucius was tasked to build a bath there for the soldiers. Lucius brought Apollodorus to the bath, as he was quite old and had hard time walking. There he felt relief from the warmed rocks and started enjoying the bath.

After hearing the rumors about Lucius Modestus and Caesar Publius Aelius Hadrianus, and Lucius being away for few years and was unable to give her a child, she decided to leave Lucius. When he got back and regained his vitality, he went looking for her, but she had already remarried and was awaiting a child.

Mami works at a luxurious hotel and was told by her manager that today an italian will be coming and she needed to take care of him. To her surprise Lucius Modestus emerged from one of the baths and she thought he was the italian and helped him out. When the real customer came, she was confused and thought Lucius was in the bathroom, but he had already returned to Rome.
