御坂美琴
MAINShe is the third ranked Level 5 esper in Academy City, and has been nicknamed Railgun due to her signature move. Kamijou Touma coined the nickname Biri-Biri (ビリビリ, Biri-Biri) (a Japanese onomatopoeia imitating the sound of electricity), while in the English dub she is referred to as "Bug Zapper" (or more usually, simply "Zapper"), and whenever the two meet, he usually calls her that, even after his amnesia.

MAINHe is a typical teenager with the usual angst and laid back attitude common for his age - this is apparent in the way he handles his guardianship of Index. In spite of being her guardian, albeit unofficially, he usually leaves Index to her own devices - often unprotected and often leaves her without an explanation which causes the latter to look for him and end up being in harm's way.

MAINShe is similar in appearance to her sister, as she has swarthy skin and have gray or silver hair, though unlike her, she has green eyes and not a trace of her Indian heritage. She wears her hair short, with two tufts of fringes hanging to the side of her face, while the back of her hair has it spread out. She also has olive eyes and a small bindi.

MAINShe is of Indian origin, as such, she has swarthy skin. Despite this, she has grey or silver hair, which wraps in two tufts, like a twin-tail hairstyle. She also has blue eye and a small bindi.
An unofficial member of Necessarius, he is currently unnamed. He owns a small jeans store in London, England, where he sells vintage jeans, and Kanzaki is customer of his.
