漆葉リンカ

Rinka Urushiba (漆葉 リンカ, Urushiba Rinka), also known as the White Girl (白い少女, Shiroi Shōjo), is the main protagonist of the series. She lived a normal - albeit low class - life with her ex-police officer father until the interception by the Glowing Fish and self-proclaimed ESP vigilante Kyotaro Azuma. Since then she has become his partner in order to fight crime, especially against other espers.

東京太郎

Kyotaro Azuma (東 京太郎, Azuma Kyōtarō) is the deuteragonist of the series. He proclaimed himself as "emissary of justice" for espers and works under the guise of Crow Head (クロウヘッド, Kurouheddo). His parents worked on the research project that brought about the Glowing Fish in the first place.

条幕 蓮

Ren Jomaku (条幕 蓮, Jōmaku Ren) is the temporary main protagonist during the second part of the series. She is a student at ESP Academy. Her ESP can form blocks of ice that can be placed on any material. She is also the target of the terrorists because of her "lock space" power.

是臼 鉄矢

Tetsuya Zeus (是臼 鉄矢, Zeusu Tetsuya) is the temporary male protagonist during the second part of the series. He is an esper and a student at ESP Academy, who is secretly an ESP Police agent that tasked to protect Ren Jomaku. He eventually rescued Ren from the terrorists. However, it's later revealed that he is actually the son of ARES' president.

黒井小節

Kobushi Kuroi (黒井 小節, Kuroi Kobushi), also known as the Black Fist (ブラック フィスト, Burakku Fisuto), is a young thief and an Esper with the power of invisibility. She initially was Rinka Urushiba's opponent, but later befriended her and became her ally.

Kozuki Kuroi (黒井 弧月, Kuroi Kozuki) is Kobushi Kuroi's younger sister, an esper, and formerly a member of ESP Liberation Front.

Lin Lianjie (リン リンチェイ, Rin Rinchei) is an esper that joined the ESP Liberation Front after being recruited by Minami Azuma. She calls herself "The Evil Ghost of the Woods".

漆葉竜胆

Rindo has grey hair. He wears a leather bike jacket with the three rings around the sleeves, a ribbed white tanktop shirt, tight jeans, and a large belt buckle. Basically, Rindo appears to have an influence from both Wolverine and Kouji Iwahata, a character from Hajime Segawa's previous work, Ga-rei.
