MAINKiichi Miyazawa (宮沢熹一, Miyazawa Kiichi), also known as Kiibou (キー坊, Kī-bō), is the main protagonist of the series Koukou Tekkenden Tough and it's sequel, Tough. He is also the main antagonist early in the Tough: Ryuu wo Tsugu Otoko manga series. Kiichi is the 15th and current headmaster of Nadashinkage-ryuu as well as the creator of Nada Shin Shinkage-ryuu (mixing the Nadashinkage-ryuu and Yuugenshinkage-ryuu).

MAINSeiko Miyazawa (宮沢静虎, Miyazawa Seiko) is one of the main characters in the manga series of Koukou Tekkenden Tough, Tough and Tough: Ryuu wo Tsugu Otoko. He is often called Oton (オトン, Oton). His nickname is Quiet Tiger. Seiko is a former head of the Nadeshinkage Clan and also the adoptive father of Kiichi Miyazawa and brother of Kiryuu and Sonou. He is the current possessor of the Tiger Foot.

SUPPORTINGKiryuu Miyazawa (宮沢鬼龍, Miyazawa Kiryū) is one of the main antagonists of the Koukou Tekkenden Tough, Tough and Tough: Ryuu wo Tsugu Otoko manga series. He is considered as the incarnation of the devil by anyone who has met him. Kiryuu is more of an anti-hero type as he constantly pushes Kiichi to surpass his limits.
True to his name Minoru changes as the wind blows, and appears and disappears unnoticed. Whenever Minoru meets or hears about someone strong he study's everything about them, all of their strengths, weakness, deficiencies and write them all down in a notebook.
