桐葉

Kiriha (桐葉(きりは),, Kiriha) is a tsugumomo in the form of a handwoven, pure silk, original design "Sakura (cherry blossom) Pattern" pocketed kimono obi.

くくり

Kukuri-Hime-no-Kami (菊理媛大神, Kukurihime ōgami), better known simply as Kukuri (くくり, Kukuri), is the resident God of the Land of the Hakusan Shrine. She is one of many gods known as Kukuri, with this incarnation residing over Kamioka. She guards over the region, dispersing curse and assisting Kazuya in his job as an exorcist.

加賀見 一也

Kazuya Kagami (加賀見かがみ 一かず也や,, Kagami Kazuya) is a male human teenager and a Taboo Child. He is the son of Kanaka and Kazuaki Kagami and younger brother of Kasumi. Partnering with Kiriha, the tsukumogami of his mother's kimono obi, he works as Kamioka's exorcist. His sister refers to him under the petname Yakkun (やつくん, Yakkun).

響華

Kyouka (響華, Kyōka) is a flute Tsugumomo that was member of Mayoiga. She was part of the Mayoiga Revolt, participating in the premature assassination attempt of the God of the Land of Kamioka Kukuri. During the Madarai Revolt, she entered a temporary contract with Kazuya Kagami, but later becomes one of his official partners.

近石千里

Chisato has a rather plain appearance with thick eyebrows and black hair that she ties in a braid. She normally wears glasses. However, when she unties her hair and removes her glasses, she is shown to be pretty.

美鷹みまね

In her human form, Mimane appears as a short girl with orange hair. On her forehead, usually covered by her hair, she has a circular marking with points in cardinal directions which matches the shape of her mirror form.

糸信

Shinobu has long dark hair parted to the sides, partially obscuring her eyes most of the time. She is thin with small breasts and is slightly shorter than Kazuya Kagami. Prior to partnering with Kazuya, she often wore sullen expression but has grown softer since meeting Kazuya.

虎鉄

He normally wears a traditional light-purple kimono jacket with long, loose sleeves over a white under-robe, belted at the waist with a black sash. Over this he has a distinctive white apron-like panel front and back fastened with large dark buttons at the corners. On his head sits a white, square chef-hat-like cap with the same black button details. He finishes the outfit with white socks and simple white shoes with small dark spots at the toes.

安次峰あきと

Akito, Arumi Ashimine and Hifumi belonged to a residence where they all manifested as tsukumogami at once and the three swore to each other as siblings. Before revealing their true names, his sister Hifumi requested to the master of the house that he treat the three of them as a set of siblings and as people which he accepted. While a pair of scissors is not a real weapon, Akito proved to be a prodigy warrior and was entrusted by his owner to act as a reliable bodyguard, defeating bandits or even exterminating aberrations that might pop up. His sister, the die tsugumomo Hifumi, was the most valued of the three by their master due to her ability to manipulate fate and luck, but over time their owner became enchanted by her amazing power and was overcome by greed, leading other people towards bankrupt and disease for his own benefit. Exploiting and abusing her power, Hifumi's power and health steadily deterioriated tremendously. When Akito are Arumi found out about their master's abuse, they informed the local villagers the truth about their master's fortune and, people filled with rage who lost their families and belongings, amassed a large crowd to attack his residence. Without Akito and Arumi around, their owner was swiftly beaten to death, but their hate extended towards his tsukumogami as well, and before they could notice, Hifumi had been targeted and killed by the villagers as well. Naturally, they attempted to kill Akito and Arumi as well, but the similarly grieving and enraged siblings showed no mercy, and slaughtered the horde.

田鎖たかの

Takano was born to the exorcist, Takigi Tagusari and is the younger sister of Takumi Tagusari. From a young age, together they trained with their mother and accompanied her on missions. Takumi was often overprotective of Takano would instruct her in what to do.
